It is also very effective for stubborn bikini lines. What will you find in your Wax@Home Kit for Brow and Face when it gets delivered to you? When you purchase your kit, you will find the following items in it: Double Sided Face Wax Strips Double Sided Eyebrow Wax Strips Antibacterial Sanitizing Wipes Why use Ziba Beauty’s Wax@Home Kit for Brow and Face? The Face Wax Strips help to remove unwanted facial hair while being safe and gentle on your skin. The Eyebrow Wax Strips help to remove unwanted brow hair while being safe and gentle on your skin. The antibacterial sanitizing wipes are also safe and gentle on the skin while killing 99.9% of germs on the skin or other surfaces.  How to use the limited edition Wax@Home Kits for Brow and Face For brow hair removal  Start with warming your eye brow wax strip between your two hands. After warming it for some time, peel the strip apart into two. Next, apply the strip in the direction of hair growth on your eyebrow. Make sure you hold the skin taut, and then pull off the strip very quickly in the opposite direction of your hair growth. Repeat the process for your other brow and remove any excess wax with the antibacterial wipes.  For facial hair removal  Similar to the brow hair removal process, warm the face wax strip between your two hands. After it is a bit warm, peel the strip apart into two. Then, apply the strip in the direction of the unwanted hair growth on your face. Ensure that you hold your skin taut, and then pull off the strip very quickly in the opposite direction of the unwanted hair growth on your face. Use your antibacterial wipes to clean up any excess wax on your skin.    Things you should be aware of while waxing  If you have never waxed before, please, ensure you do a patch test on the spot you want to wax and wait for 12 hours. If no irritation occurs within this time frame, you can continue with the product. You also want to make sure that your skin is dry and clean before making use of the wax strips.  Don’t forget to always remove the wax strips very quickly using a single motion. The strip should not be pulled straight up, instead pull it backwards and make sure that you remain close and in parallel with the skin. Doing this will help reduce the discomfort associated with waxing.  You should note that previously shaved hair is usually tough, so it would be best you wait for about two weeks after shaving or until the brow or facial hairs are around 1/4 inch (or 1/2 cm) long before you use the waxing strips. Also note that talc should be sparingly applied to your face in hot weather or when you are perspiring.  Tips for clean-up and after-care  Make use of the antibacterial wipes to clean up any excess wax left on your face or skin after applying the wax strips. Kindly note that it is possible you experience high skin sensitivity after the first application, however, the sensitivity will reduce with subsequent applications of the strip because the hair will be gradually weakened. Don’t be alarmed if you notice your skin turning pink and spotty after waxing – this usually disappears within a few hours.  But note that if irritation persists, discontinue your usage of the product. Depending on how hairy you are, you should start experiencing hair growth again in those areas between two and six weeks. And of course, the wax strips are reusable, so you can store the extras flat inside their box and keep the kit in a cool and dry place.    Cautions and warnings  If your skin has been treated recently with Glycolic Acid, Retinol A, Accutane or Alpha hydroxy products, do not wax your skin.  Do not wax skin that is sunburned, injured, sensitive or irritated.  Make sure you do not use alcohol or astringents on your skin before or after you wax.  Do not sunbathe before or after waxing your skin.  You should note that if this product is used inappropriately, it may lead to skin lifting, bruising and irritation. Examples of inappropriate usage of the waxing strips include pulling off the strip in an upward motion (instead of backwards), not keeping the area to be waxed taut before pulling off the strip, and excessive reapplication of the strip over the same area.  From Ziba with love The Ziba family has helped you put together the easiest and quickest tools that can help you remove facial and eyebrow hair from the safety of your home. Whether you’re a beginner or you’re just too occupied with work, you can take advantage of the Wax@Home Kit for Brow and Face to get rid of unwanted hair quickly.

What will you find in your Brow@Home Deluxe Kit when it gets delivered to you? When your kit arrives, you will find the following items in it: Double Sided Eyebrow Wax Strips Brow Crayon by Ziba Cosmetics The Brow Trio by Ziba Cosmetics The Multi Task Brush by Ziba Cosmetics The Hi-Lite Pearl by Ziba Cosmetics The Conceal Light by Ziba Cosmetics The Finish Wax by Ziba Cosmetics Antibacterial Sanitizing Wipes Why use Ziba Beauty’s Brow@Home Deluxe Kit? Asides the free consultation you get from a top brow expert, here are some of the major benefits of using your kit. The small-sized wax strips are made with ingredients that are safe and gentle on your skin. The Brow Crayon comes in light, medium and dark shades to get the perfect blend. The Brow Trio powder blends easily to give you that perfect shade. The Multi Task Brush is the perfect tool to give you sharp lines. The radiant and creamy formula of the Hi-Lite Pearl pencil blends easily and helps to lift, light, and accentuate your eyebrows. With the Finish Wax pencil, you can stimulate natural hair growth while filling, defining and correcting your brows. The blendable formula of the Conceal Light pencil helps you hide, shade, or correct your brows. Use the Antibacterial Sanitizing Wipes to kill 99.9% of germs on skins and surfaces. How to use the Limited Edition Brow@Home Deluxe Kit You will need to first use the Multi Task Brush and Brow Trio Powder. You will use these tools to create an inner corner, peak and tail on both brows. Then use the Brow Crayon to create an outline of the shape of your natural eyebrow making use of the inner corner, peak, and tail points as your guide. Then, you can use the Multi Task Brush to fill in the shape and the appropriate shade from your Brow Trio. The next thing to do after defining your brow shape is to wax around the shape. Pick up the strip and warm them between your hands. Then, peel the strip apart into two. Next, apply the strip in the hair growth direction. Hold your skin taut then quickly pull off the wax strip in the opposite direction of your hair growth. Repeat this process on the second brow and use the Antibacterial Wipes in your kit to remove excess wax. Things you should be aware of while waxing Please, ensure you do a patch test on the area to be waxed if you have never waxed before. If no irritation occurs after 12 hours, then you can continue with the product. Also, ensure that your skin is dry and clean before you use the wax strips. Remember to always remove the wax strips very quickly using a single motion. Do not pull straight up, rather pull backwards and ensure that you remain close and in parallel with the skin. This will help reduce any discomfort.  Remember that hair that is previously shaved is usually strong and resistant so it is advisable to wait for about two weeks or until the brow hairs are around a quarter of an inch (or half a centimeter) long before you use the kit. Also, note that you should use talc sparingly when you are perspiring or in hot weather.  Tips for clean-up and after-care  Use the antibacterial wipes to remove any excess wax remaining on your skin after using the wax strips. Do note that you might experience high skin sensitivity after first use, though it will decrease with subsequent uses as your hair weakens. You might notice your skin turning pink and spotty after hair removal – don’t worry, this usually disappears under a few hours. However, if irritation persists, kindly discontinue using the product.  The hairs on your brows should start growing again anywhere between two to six weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. You can always reuse your extra strips so make sure you store them flat in their box in a cool and dry location.  Cautions and warnings  Do not use this product on skin that has been treated recently with products containing Accutane, Retinol A, Glycolic Acid or Alpha hydroxy compounds.  Do not use this product on skin that is injured, irritated, sunburned or sensitive.  Do not apply astringents or alcohol on skin before or after waxing.  Make sure you do not sunbathe before or after you wax your skin.  Please note that if you use this product improperly, it may cause bruising, irritation and lifting of the skin. Examples of improper usage include reapplying the product over the same spot more than two times, pulling the strip in an upward motion instead of a backward motion, as well as not keeping your skin taut when you are waxing it.  We made this just for you  We have lovingly assembled the Brow@Home Deluxe Kit just for you to help you with the grooming and maintenance of your brows at home. We have also included a free live video consultation with a top brow expert in this limited edition package, so your eyebrows can have that touch of professionalism.

Eyebrow Threading vs Waxing: Which Is Better?

What is Eyebrow Threading? Threading is an ancient form of hair removal that uses a cotton blend thread to remove hair from the follicle. A piece of string is wrapped around a follicle of hair and then twisted until the hair is pulled out to remove the hair. What is Eyebrow Waxing? Eyebrow waxing is a method of removing unwanted brow hair, either as a cold or hot wax. Cold wax strips are pieces of pre-waxed and ready-to-use muslin or cellulose strips that are pre-cut to different sizes according to the areas where they are meant to be used. Hot wax is the most popular method of removing body hair and is also used on facial hair. The hot wax is applied to a small section of the skin with unwanted hair and in the direction of hair growth. As the wax cools, it melts onto the top layer of the skin and grips at each hair strand. Once the wax is applied, a cloth strip is placed over the wax and pressed down firmly. After two to three seconds, the cloth strip is quickly pulled off in the opposite direction of hair growth. Which Is Better? Eyebrow Threading vs Waxing When it comes to eyebrow threading vs waxing, we always suggest threading. Threading is the most precise form of hair removal, it gives the best results for shaping brows, is gentle and ideal for sensitive skin, and removes hair from the follicle for longer-lasting results. Benefits of Eyebrow Threading There are many benefits to threading eyebrows. Many clients prefer this method of hair removal because it is fast and not as painful as any other form of hair removal. Other benefits to threading include: No chemicals are used during a threading service It is less expensive than other hair removal procedures Results can last up to 2-3 weeks When it comes to choosing between eyebrow threading or waxing, you should consider your pain threshold as well as your skin sensitivity. Some people think threading hurts less than waxing, while others can tolerate the sensation of waxing but not of threading. The best way to find what form of hair removal you prefer is by trying both methods for experience and results. At Ziba Beauty, we offer consultations to help guide you on your brow journey. Things No One Ever Told You About Eyebrow Threading

If you’ve never had your brows shaped by threading, you’re bound to be curious and cautious about what to expect before your first eyebrow threading service. If you’re a threading regular, you probably still wonder about the most common threading best practices. Even though threading has gained vast popularity in recent years, so much about the hair-removal practice is still a mystery to many. But as the leaders in this brow artistry, we take pride in providing you expert advice on the dos and don’ts for threading. Therefore, to help you feel at ease by empowering you with all the information you need to know about brow threading, we’ve compiled a list of things no one ever told you about eyebrow threading. 6 Key Facts About Eyebrow Threading Less Painful Solution With any hair-removal technique, there will always be some discomfort. Threading, however, is the least painful. This is because the hair is removed from the root, whereas with waxing, you’re feeling the pain of hair being pulled out plus the added pain of the skin being tugged and the use of sticky wax on sensitive parts of your skin. Discomfort also depends on each individual person’s sensitivity and the area being threaded. For example, people find the top of the eyebrow a lot less painful to thread than the bottom of the brow. Gives Best Brow Shaping The threading technique gives the Brow Artist complete control and precision of the hair-removal process. The Artist is able to remove a single hair, or line of hairs, to achieve the best shape no matter the hair length. Good for Sensitive Skin Threading is ideal for sensitive skin. Threading has little contact with the skin as the thread simply glides over the skin when removing the hair. Threading uses a cotton string to remove hair, whereas even the most natural waxes can contain resins, preservatives, fragrances, and ingredients that can cause a negative reaction on sensitive skin. Quick Process A brow threading service can be done in 15 minutes by our experienced artists. Full face threading, however, which usually includes the upper lip, sides, chin, and forehead, can take up to 45 minutes to complete. Results Last Longer Threading results last longer than waxing because the thread pulls out all the hair on the surface of the skin from the root. Good for Facial Hair Removal Threading is the mildest hair removal technique. It does not use harsh chemicals and serves as a mild exfoliant, making it ideal for facial hair removal. This form of hair removal does not rip off the top layer of the epidermis and is highly unlikely to cause a breakout. How to Reduce the Pain of Eyebrow Threading?

It’s true. Brow threading can cause minimal pain. The good news is that the pain is only temporary and is usually relieved by the time you leave your brow session. Also, the level of pain a person can experience depends on their skin sensitivity, as well as the current state of their skin. Fortunately, there are things you can do before, during, and after your brow session to reduce the pain of eyebrow threading. Tips to Make Eyebrow Threading Hurt Less Before your session Treatments such as facial peels and suntanning will make your skin more sensitive even days after your sessions. Therefore, we suggest you avoid any stimulating treatments to the eyebrow area that add more heat to the surface, which can ultimately lead to more pain. During your session During your brow threading session, your artist will ask you to hold your lid closed with one hand and pull the top of your brow upward with the other. This will allow them to get a better angle at shaping your brows and, simultaneously, will hold your skin tight reducing any chances of pain during a skin snug. After your session A vital step in our Ziba Beauty threading service includes the application of cooling lotion to the threaded skin. This lotion includes aloe vera, which helps reduce inflammation, redness, and minor pain. At home, you can continue to apply an aloe vera cream to soothe your skin. You can also spritz your face with cooling rose water, apply tea tree oil or moisturizer that does not contain perfume or alcohol since these can cause more irritation. How to Maintain Your Eyebrows After Threading?

As with many beauty routines, it’s important to take brow aftercare seriously. Whether you’re new to getting threaded or have been a long-time threader, the care you give your brows can play a major role in the results of your overall threading experience. To achieve the optimal brow results, we recommend you follow these tips to maintain your eyebrows after threading. 1.) Moisturize Moisturizing is essential, especially for the face which is constantly exposed to the weather and air quality- this includes moisturizing your brows as well. We recommend using a moisturizer of at least SPF 30 to keep your skin healthy and to protect it from the sun. Adding an SPF moisturizer to your daily routine will reduce your chances of premature aging, sun damage, fine lines, and sagging skin – all of which can affect your eyebrow shape. 2.) Condition If you’re experiencing eyebrow hair-loss, chances are your brows might be in need of deep conditioning. To condition your brows, we suggest DIY brow conditioners using items many people use in their daily home routines, such as coconut and castor oil, along with a vitamin E serum. 3.) Leave them alone Once your brow hairs begin to resurface, you’ll be tempted to remove them yourself. However, we strongly discourage you to do that since you might change the shape of your brows, making it more difficult to achieve your overall brow goals. We strongly suggest you simply allow your brows to grow naturally and maintain a regular threading schedule. More of this on the next and last point. 4.) Maintain a regular threading schedule Threading too soon or waiting too long before getting your brows done can actually hurt your eyebrow shape. If you wait too long, you can lose your shape completely and getting your brows back to the way you like them may take some time. At the same time, if you get your brows done too early, it’ll be easier to thin out the shape. Our recommendation: ask your Brow Artist to tell you what the best time frame is for you, then follow it consistently. How Does Eyebrow Waxing Work?

Ziba Beauty Artists are experts at eyebrow shaping, both by threading and through eyebrow waxing. Eyebrow waxing is a popular hair removal method that uses either cold wax strips or hot wax. At Ziba Beauty, we use small-sized cold wax strips to shape and clean up brows. We find that in comparison to hot wax, this method gives us the best functionality to precisely shape your brows all around. What Is Eyebrow Waxing? Eyebrow waxing is a method of removing unwanted hair, either as a cold or hot wax. Cold wax strips are pieces of pre-waxed and ready-to-use muslin or cellulose strips that are pre-cut to different sizes according to the areas where they are meant to be used. This method is called “cold wax” because it doesn’t need to be heated, unlike hot wax, which requires heat. Most cold wax strips have to be warmed slightly between the palms of your hands. Each wax strip has two sides: one side contains the pre-wax and the other has a clear layer that needs to be removed in order to expose the wax. Eyebrow Waxing: Step by Step Procedure Similar to a brow threading session, every eyebrow waxing procedure at Ziba Beauty begins with a client consultation. After determining your brow needs, your beauty artist will then cut the cold wax strips into mini-strips. Then the artist will warm the strips gently by rubbing them between his/her hands. Each mini-strip is then separated slowly and firmly pressed on the skin over the desired area. The strip is then pressed on firmly in the direction of hair growth. Finally, the strip is quickly pulled away in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Your artist will complete grooming your brows by trimming any necessary hair with small scissors. Your eyebrow waxing session at Ziba Beauty is complete with a brow massage to soothe the skin.
