Wax On, Wax Off!

As we’ve been offering huge discounts on hair removal packages over the last few weeks, we thought we’d give you some helpful tips about how to keep your skin soft and supple in the days and weeks after your wax.

1. Stay sensible

Temperatures are heating up and your legs are silky smooth, but do the right thing and stay off the sun lounger. The same goes for jumping into the pool or stepping into a steamy sauna room. Your pores are at their most sensitive after a wax and it’s advisable to avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and sunlight for at least 24 hours afterwards.

2. Clean clothes

After your bikini wax, bring a change of underwear to ensure your intimate area stays clean and germ free. The same goes for slipping into those skinny jeans. Keep your skin cool by wearing natural fabrics like cotton. Let your skin breathe and avoid irritation.

3. Keep it creamy

We all love to moisturize our skin, and so we should! But for a few days after your waxing appointment, avoid heavily-fragranced creams and lotions. For those of you with super sensitive skin, talk to our Artists about what to use.

4. Banish ingrowing hairs

Gently exfoliating your skin a few days after a wax is an excellent way to prevent the build up of dead skin cells and avoid ingrowing hairs. Regular exfoliation is a great habit to develop to keep your skin soft.

5. Get organized!
